Apaxon Menu

Available nowFree

A menu Google can read, not a PDF nobody can.

Dishes, prices and dietary information stored as real data — so they render fast on a phone, update in one place, and appear in search results as a menu rather than as a link to a file that opens badly.

  • Free forever
  • Schema.org markup built in
  • No PDF required

Search markup

What it does.

  • Dishes as records

A price change is one edit, not a new PDF exported from a design file somebody left the company with.

  • Structured data that search engines use

Menu, MenuSection and MenuItem markup is emitted automatically, so a search result can show the dishes rather than a filename.

  • Dietary tags people can filter

Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and allergen information attached to the dish, so a guest can answer their own question before they call.

  • Sections and service times

Lunch, dinner and Sunday menus that know when they apply, instead of one long page with headings.

The problem

A PDF menu costs more than it looks.

It is invisible to search, unreadable on a phone, and impossible to change without the original file. Every restaurant with a PDF menu is losing bookings to one whose dishes appear in the search result — and paying a designer for a price change.

  • Loads in a fraction of the weight of a PDF on mobile data
  • Readable by screen readers, which a scanned menu never is
  • One price change, one edit, no design software

Questions

Can I still offer a PDF?

Yes — the plugin can render a print-ready version from the same data, so the PDF is generated rather than maintained separately and cannot drift out of date.

Does it work with my theme?

It renders through a block and a shortcode, both of which inherit your theme’s typography. Nothing is loaded in an iframe.

Will it connect to bookings?

Apaxon Bookings and Apaxon Menu both run on Core, so a booking page can show the menu that applies to the sitting being booked.
