What it does.
Page cache that knows when to clear
Invalidated on the edit that affects the page rather than on a timer, so a price change is live immediately and the cache still does its job.
Images in formats browsers prefer
WebP and AVIF generated and served with a fallback. Images are the majority of page weight on most sites and the cheapest thing to fix.
Asset handling that can be undone
Minify, combine and defer — each independently, each reversible, and each with a note about what it can break. A blank page from an optimisation setting is the classic failure.
Database clean-up with a preview
Revisions, transients and orphaned metadata, shown as a count before anything is deleted.
How it reports
Core Web Vitals, not a made-up grade.

Questions
Will it break my theme?
Anything that might is off by default and warns before it applies. Every setting reverses, and the cache can be cleared from the admin bar.
Does it work with my host’s caching?
It detects common host caches and steps back rather than stacking a second layer, which is the usual cause of stale pages.
What about a CDN?
Supported, and recommended. Caching at the server helps; caching at the edge helps more for visitors far away.
