Apaxon SMTP
Available nowFreeThe reason your WordPress email is not arriving.
WordPress sends mail through PHP by default, which most hosts either block or send from an address that fails every modern check. This routes it through a real provider, logs every send, and tells you exactly why one bounced.
- Free forever
- Works with any provider
- Every send logged
What it does.
Any SMTP host
A provider API where one exists, plain SMTP where it does not. Not tied to a single vendor with an affiliate link behind it.
A log with the actual error
Every message, its status, and the provider’s own rejection reason in full. "Failed" is not a diagnosis; "550 SPF check failed" is.
Certificates verified
TLS with verification always on. Encryption without verification protects against nothing that matters, and disabling it is not offered as an option.
Diagnostics that name the problem
SPF, DKIM and DMARC checked against your domain, with the record you are missing shown rather than described.
Why this is the first plugin to install
Password resets are email.
So are order confirmations, booking reminders and security alerts. A site whose mail does not arrive has a support problem it cannot see, because the failures are invisible from the inside — everything appears sent.
- Reset and verification email that reaches the inbox
- A log that answers "did they actually get it" with evidence
- Bounce and complaint handling, so a bad address is not retried forever

Questions
Do I need a paid email service?
Not necessarily — many hosts provide SMTP credentials that work. A dedicated provider gives better deliverability and a reputation that is not shared with the rest of the server.
Are message bodies stored?
Subject, recipient and status by default; bodies only if you enable it, because a mail log holding password reset links is a liability.
Will it fix my SPF record?
It tells you exactly what the record should say. Publishing it is a DNS change only you can make.
